Fantastic place. Beautiful rooms, very friendly accommodating hosts. We had a full English breakfast which was very tasty but there are also plenty of alternatives.. cereals, pastries, fresh fruit and yoghurt.

Crackin view, Crackin hosts (Maria & Steve), Crackin location, Pet friendly too, even the fresh eggs from the hens were Cracking for breakfast. This was a place that gave you a home from home feeling. You couldnt want for more. Kielder water 15 minute drive, Scottish border town of Jedburgh 30 minute drive so much to do and see. A total perfect package all round.

We stayed in the self-catered accommodation and it was absolutely perfect in every way. Set up was ideal for two people and it had everything we needed.
Perfect location as a springboard to vist many attractions in the area. We went out to Holy Island on the East Coast and spent a day pottering up and around Hadrian's wall.
Excellent restaurants and pubs around for an superb evening meal, too!

Myself and my husband stayed at Cracking View Guest House in April, we were greeted by Steve & Maria who were both extremely lovely, friendly and approachable.
We arrived after 8:00pm yet our hosts were more than happy to pop the sauna on for us both and we could use the swimming pool.
We had a wonderful evening then headed to bed, our room was beautiful and extremely clean, we had a wonderful nights sleep after a quick scrub in the roll top bath we headed down for breakfast, Breakfast was delicious we had a full Northumberland which was cooked superbly!!
We will definitely be booking up again in 2023!
I would highly recommend Cracking View Guest House if you would like to explore Northumberland as the location is in such a great spot with great hosts! 👏🏼

Myself and my partner recently stayed at Crackin View and we absolutely LOVED it! The hosts are incredibly attentive, warm and friendly and they were so helpful when we arrived a little later than expected. The room we stayed in was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was of a very high standard and we finished off our stay with a swim in the indoor pool. 100% will be back in the future and I will recommend this guesthouse to friends and family. Thanks so much Maria and Stephen

A stunning guesthouse. Your made very welcome by Steve and Maria. The guesthouse is beautifully decorated along with the rooms. All rooms have tea, coffee, hot choc along with tv, fridge and irons. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The beds are really comfortable. All rooms are en-suite. Our daughters stayed in the one with a beautiful claw footed bath.
Enjoy the views and the sunshine while sitting out on the decking.
There’s plenty of choice for breakfast but do enjoy the full cooked breakfast as all the ingredients are locally sourced.
This is a really comfortable and relaxing place to stay after hiking round the country side. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

We stayed at the Cottage at Crackin view in October, the cottage was very clean and well presented, The living room and kitchen are open plan, and shower and toilet and bedroom are separate, we enjoyed our stay and surrounding area. Steve and Maria are marvelous hosts and their breakfast's were perfect plenty of choice available. We highly recommend a stay at this Guest house.

Fantastic guest house with great surroundings and very welcoming hosts. Maria and Steve are lovely people and have great knowledge of the area. Breakfasts are superb.
Outdoor seating, barbecue area and also a small pool. Well worth a visit and I'll definitely be back.

Quiet location, well situated to visit various popular locations. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Excellent selection of cereals, yogurts, preserves, dried and fresh fruits, cereal bars and more. Cooked breakfast is well cooked. The small swimming pool is an added bonus. Bedrooms are well equipped, one thing I would have found useful was more hooks or rails in the bathroom for towels.
