A place of beauty. Words do not appear to describe the beauty. It is special, a place where you can go to just find yourself. Sit in peace, feel love and joy. Everything is joy here, whether you practice Buddhism or just go to find out about Buddhism. The aim of this place is to send you out into the world calmer, and the retreats help you to become a better version of yourself. There are even lodges for personal retreats. The team of volunteers do a wonderful job. There are many walks around the grounds where you may spot a deer, owl, or hear all the numerous birds. There is a lake and the nearby river Tyne. The small village is worthy of a walk. The walled garden houses an orangery and a peach tree. 🍑 The history of the house is fascinating. So much to see...... Enjoy this special place.......

A magical haven

Had a really relaxing time here, the atmosphere is calm, the views are inspiring, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Food was great (vegan food was delicious).
